The History of European Art in 60 Minutes or Less edition by Paula Adamski Arts Photography eBooks
I think this book successfully accomplishes what it sets out to do, which is to give you a 60 (actually, more like 20-30) minute introduction to the various periods/styles of European art, with one or more examples of each period. For each period, it gives you some background on the characteristics of European art during that period, how it came about, what were the subjects of the art, and so on. For each example art work, it explains why that example is a good example of the given period. At the end of reading this short book, you will NOT be an expert at anything. That wasn't the purpose of the book. But you will have a brief exposure to what the various periods of European art were and what the art during each of those periods was predominantly like. I have a 20 pound art history book gathering dust on my bookshelf. I never pull it out, but it serves a good purpose because its heavy weight keeps the bookshelf it is on stable. But after reading this short book, I feel a little bit more interest to learn more.
I suggest that the author (and all authors) should add her book to [...] so that people there can see it and write reviews of it.

The History of European Art in 60 Minutes or Less edition by Paula Adamski Arts Photography eBooks Reviews
This is an excellent book filled with a lot of interesting information as to the overall History of European Art. Condensed and consice; a quick and easy read. I so enjoyed the author's own input of witticism, certainly got me smiling if not chuckling. Time well spent.
